Designer-for-a-Day
Want a little guidance before getting started on a project? This service helps give you the confidence to make decisions, while also allowing you to ask any design questions about your space. Think of this service as a collaboration. We can spend the day together in the Lexington area* at tile, plumbing, lighting, and/or countertop showrooms making selections for a kitchen or bath; or we can spend the day visiting retail stores together to source furniture, artwork, and accessories to pull a living room or bedroom together.
We’ll design together during a set time. For day packages, we require a minimum 6-hour time block so you can have the confidence to implement the design on your own. And, if you decide you’d like further assistance, you can always add additional services.
Designer-For-A-Day can include:

Experience design in action

Discussing room layout options for a living room, dining room, bedroom, family room, great room, home office, laundry, foyer, or playroom

A Room Refresh, rearranging existing furniture and accessories

New furniture layout and specification

Making suggestions on additional furniture and accessories needed to complete the space

Visiting local retail stores or showrooms to choose furniture, lighting, plumbing, accessories, and/or finishes*

Choosing paint colors

Day-of styling of your space with existing furniture and accessories

Going room-by-room to discuss any design questions you have

Day-of styling of your space with newly purchased items

E-design or Remote design

Collaborative mood boards to show design ideas and concepts
* Travel to showrooms and retail stores outside of the Lexington area is available at an additional cost.
